With a new (brighter) canopy and given the near perfect windless conditions I thought I would try some circuits.

The circuits weren't too bad.  Considering this is the first time (that I can remember) that I have done any decent circuits.  They were about 30 metres in length with some reasonable turns at each end.  Even some banked turns.

I also did a few more stationary flips.

Battery #7 took xx ma to charge in yy minutes for a 7 minute flight

A nice 7 minute flight on the Mini-Titan.  Looking forwards to getting a new brighter canopy, so I can start moving the heli around more - performing circuits etc.

Besides basic hovering and small circuits, I also did a couple of flips.  Decent blades will definately improve the handling of the Mini.

The tail is nice, but still not as nice a stops as on the Trex600.  Piro speed isn't consistent CW to CCW either.  Just a bit of tweaking should fix that though.

I moved the links on the washout arms to the outer holes to help speed things up. I also set the spartan gyro back to defaults to see if that would help improve the tail pirouette behaviour.  From the few piros that I did, I did notice the difference in the tail.  The stops were a lot better than they had been last weekend.

I had an enjoyable flight and didn't notice the difference, but I didn't really put the heli through its paces as the wind was blowing the mini-titan around.

I sold the GY401 gyro that used to be on my Mini-Titan and with the money, I bought a decent tail servo to go along with the Spartan DS760 gyro she now has installed.

I setup the servo, which took about 1/2 hour, then took the mini up for a flight.

I spooled up with no rudder input.  It was holding really well.  I moved the rudder to see how it was going to hold, and DOH... it turned the wrong way LOL.  I managed to land and spool down, then proceeded to reverse the servo direction (gyro direction was fine).  Once I spooled up again, she was flying really nice....
