Was a bit too breezy for the Mini-Titan today, so only flew the Rex.  Down at SARCH we had a loader to contend with that had been parked on the field.  Thankfully between the pits and the flightline.

Practiced left and right side in hovers and a small amount of nose in.

I needed to add a lot of forward cyclic trim to get the heli to sit nicely, otherwise it would drop it's tail a lot.  Im not sure if this was from the wind or not, but i don't think so as it didn't make any difference...

Finally some more flights in LOL.  The winds have been too strong to do any flying all week :(

Practiced left and right side in hovering.  I did do some nose in as well, but the winds were making things hard so i played it safe and went back to left, right and tail in.

The second flight I flew most of the time with the governor turned on.  This tamed the head speed down quite noticibly and the heli was easier to control and keep stable.

15 minutes flight time between the two...

I just practised left and right side in hovers with a small stint of nose in.  I tried the 45degree landing approach a couple of times.  I think it still needs work.

Battery #5 took 1233ma to charge in 58:50 minutes for a 7 minute flight

I thought I would get at least one more flight in, but unfortunately just after I spooled up and took off the wind decided to blow.

The heli was being thrown around, and the gusts would cause it to rise by about 1 metre at times.

I decided to cut short the flight before I broke something or crashed.

Battery #4 took 938 ma and 45:50 minutes to charge for a 4 minute flight

I finally managed to get some flights in for February LOL.

Winds were making it fun, but I was still able to manage some stable hovers.

The new faster tail servo made a huge difference to the tail.  It is holding a lot better now.  I tsill have some minor trimming to do, but with the winds blowing left to righ, the tail was holding rock solid.

The header tank hasn't fixed the leaning out issue unfortunately.  It has given me extra runtime though :) The backplate was really cool...
